Okay, here's a discussion forum like the one over at TitansGo.Net for everybody to discuss serious cases and events at.
If you are looking for a bit of happy fun in the forums and like to keep away from serious threads and strict rules. This isn't the place for you.
I've layed down a few rules based on the TGN rules.
1. Respect other members' views and opinions. The way a good debate will work is if everyone's opinions are respected. Even if you dislike the opinion, you have no right to manipulate the poster into feeling like they are wrong. Respect the poster, challenge the arguement. This is a very important rule, the staff and I will notice if somebody is being rude or hateful towards another person. Those who decide to break this rule will be punished.
2. Do not use this board for the sole purpose of causing trouble. Doing so will have you banned from this board before you know it.
3. Use proper spelling and grammar. Express your reviews in an intelligent fashion, while keeping what you write loyal to the rules. If you cannot spell well, use a word processor, or the spell check button at the bottom of your post box. Bad grammar will get you excluded from the boards.
4. Try to make your post relevant to the topic. Doing so will save everyone much hassle.
5. If you are starting a topic, you must provide a link for the title of the topic so people know what you are talking about. Short of a link? Post about it.
6. Debates are bound to get heated here, so be prepared. Jokes are fine, but personal attacks on other posters make you look like a jerk and you won't get your point across.
7. Do not purposely attack a poster or act obnoxious. Don't flame other posters based on their beliefs. We don't care if they're liberals, conservatives, communists, or libertarians, go after their arguments and not the person.
8. If we feel you've overstepped the bounds, we may edit your post to remove the offending content and give you a warning. One warning is all you need, do the same thing again and I will ban you altogether from this board.
9. Oh, and do not attempt to re-edit posts back to what they originally said. It's lame. You know very well I will catch it and I won't take it nicely.
10. Do not post threads for the sole purpose of flaming one country, group, side or position. Biased articles, fine; editorial pieces aimed at certain targets, fine (As long as they aren't done in a way to make it personal). DO NOT make threads that only consist of "haha, stupid hippies LOL," "Boy republicans shore are dum," or "see, France sucks". They will be closed. Also known as the France sucks clause.
11. We'll expect you to back up your arguements the best you can. Do it. Or else your arguement will be taken for granted.
12. Think about this. The future is now. Forget the past. Do not post about a past arguement or it will also be taken for granted. Do not add agreement posts, contribute.
And please, do PM me if these rules make no sense to you and you would like to take part in this board.
